Restorative Yoga Weekend Immersion

Restorative Yoga is a gentle, nourishing practice. Join us for a weekend of rest and rejuvenation, led by Dori Thomsen, studio owner and yoga teacher at Soluna Yoga + Spa. This Restorative Yoga Immersion is available to everyone. It is a weekend dedicated to Restorative Yoga, Meditation, and breathing practices.
Restorative Yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, with stillness and gentle breathing. This class allows the mind and body to slow down. Restorative yoga is known for its reliance on props such as bolsters, blocks, or blankets to make poses gentler and more supportive. In general, you can expect to hold poses in restorative yoga for a minimum of 5-10 minutes.
If you are a Yoga Teacher, dedicate this time to deepen you knowledge of Restorative Yoga. Learn tips and techniques you can incorporate in your classes and personal practice. You will leave this immersion with the skillset & confidence to teach a Restorative Yoga class.
This immersion is also available to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekend of restoring the body & mind. We will immerse ourselves in deeply restorative postures, while increasing our awareness and understanding of this practice to incorporate it in our person practice.
