The Taoist concept of Yin and Yang are 2 qualities of energies present in our bodies and in the world around us. In a Yoga practice, it is an excellent balance.
This class combines passive and active asanas with pranayama and meditation for a deep, integrated, satisfying practice.
The Yin practice is slow and quiet, done on the floor with deep stretching emphasizing hips, back and legs, working deep on the joints and connective tissue, creating flexibility and calming the nervous system.
The Yang, more active part of the practice, will incorporate sun salutations, dynamic strengthening postures and balance poses working on a muscular level for building strength.
Suitable for all levels.
